UPDATE
4:36 PM PT — Vegas authorities just said they have ID’d the driver of the car but are not revealing his name. They say he rented the car in Colorado, drove to Vegas and arrived at 7:30 Wednesday morning … then drove up and down the Strip before heading to the hotel.
UPDATE
4:37 PM PT — The authorities credit Elon Musk for providing information that helped them track the car with video at various charging stations along the route.
There are several ominous connections between the New Orleans terror attack on Bourbon Street and the Tesla that exploded outside the Trump Hotel in Vegas.
Both the Vegas Tesla and the pick up truck in New Orleans were rented by the same car-sharing company. And 3 detonating devices were found in New Orleans — one in the pickup truck and 2 nearby — it appears there are similarities to the detonating device in the Tesla.
It can’t go without saying … the fact that a Tesla Cybertruck — manufactured by a company owned by Elon Musk — exploded outside the TRUMP Hotel is more than telling, given the political backdrop of the Trump/Musk union.
As for Elon, he was quick to say on social … the Cybertruck had no defect that would cause an explosion.
The FBI is investigating the Vegas explosion, which killed the driver and injured 7 others, as a possible terrorist act. Authorities found a massive amount of fireworks-style mortar inside the Tesla.

Donald Trump‘s son Eric, who is the EVP of the Trump Organization, said after the explosion … the safety and well-being of guests and staffers is the company’s top priority.
The Cyber Truck blew up at around 8:40 Wednesday morning, just after it pulled up to the hotel. Smoke was billowing out of the vehicle before it blew up.
