It’s been one hell of a week for Doug Gottlieb. The coach of the Green Bay Phoenixes, still pulling double duty on Fox Sports Radio got roasted by Adam Schefter for his team’s horrible start to the season — and it just got much, much worse.
Green Bay scheduled Michigan Tech on Wednesday afternoon in a game Gottlieb was so convinced he was going to win that before the game he was calling them “Nobody U,” and explaining how he’s not really sure what “beating them by 20” would teach them.
Doug Gottlieb has no idea what he’s talking about. He refers to D2 Michigan Tech as “Nonody U” and implies they’ll win by 20. His shitty 2-10 UWGB team might be in for a rude awakening today at 11 AM when they see the way Tech plays ball the right way. pic.twitter.com/nzrgKdxxEL

Well, they didn’t win by 20, not by a long shot.
Michigan Tech, a D2 school, went into Green Bay’s house and beat them, scoring 49 points in the second half to absolutely embarrass Gottlieb’s team. It now brings Green Bay’s record to 2-11 on the season after Gottlieb inherited a team that went 18-14 last year and 13-7 in the Horizon League.
I’d often say “don’t quit your day job,” but I’ll make an exception here. Please just quit.
