L’Oreal Acquires Dr. G Skincare from Migros


The deal for Gowoonsesang Cosmetics includes Dr. G, which has a growing pan-Asian presence.

L’Oreal (Beauty Packaging’s No. 1 Top Company) has agreed to purchase Gowoonsesang Cosmetics from Migros.

“We have been following the brand and its success for many years, and we look forward to accelerating its growth in South Korea and the rest of the world.”
 
This deal includes the South Korean skincare brand Dr. G, which is expected to meet the rising demand for K-Beauty products.
 
Migros’ Mirbelle Group oversaw Gowoonsesang Cosmetics, acquiring it from 3CE in 2018. According to Reuters, Migros wanted to find a new owner for Gowoonsesang and other brands.
