Michael Kim has first PGA Tour round ever with multiple eagles at Arnold Palmer Invitational

Things got interesting for Michael Kim on the back nine at Bay Hill.

There are two different par 5s to take advantage of before ending your round and he did so with authority as he managed to eagle both of them.

Kim ended the round at 5-under and having began at even for the tournament that’s where he will sit entering Sunday. What was particularly interesting about what Kim did across five holes though was that it was something he had never done before on the PGA Tour.

The NBC broadcast noted that Kim carded a round with multiple eagles for the first time in his career. For those of you scoring at home… that is a career that spans 642 different rounds.

Golf is a game that features obscurities happening almost on a weekly basis. Sometimes you are hot and sometimes you are cold and you can make history in either direction if the wind is blowing the right way.

Thankfully for Michael Kim the wind was at his back, so to speak, on Saturday.
